Dr. Wool, founding member of Southeastern Cardiology Consultants, has been in private practice in Montgomery since 1981. After graduating from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine at the top of his class, Dr. Wool completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Wool is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Diplomat in Interventional Cardiology in the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Tamjeed Arshad, M.D., FACC
Dr. Arshad completed Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine training at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, followed by a Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University School ofMedicine in Nashville. He is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiologists, with Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Arshad has maintained an active cardiology practice in Montgomery since 2000, where his superior sub-specialty training, extensive experience, and compassionate patient care have created a strong patient following. Dr. Arshad is married, has two sons, and is active in Montgomery community and youth organizations.
Babatunde Komolafe, M.D., FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Komolafe completed medical education at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Komolafe proceeded on to Michigan State University and the Borgess Medical Center where he completed fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Komolafe is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is currently Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Komolafe is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Special interests include coronary artery disease, coronary diagnostics and interventions, hemodynamic support devices, peripheral vascular disease with diagnostics and endovascular interventions, nuclear cardiology diagnostics, and general cardiology.
|Shyam Padmanabhan, M.D.|
Dr. Padmanabhan completed his medical training at the Government Medical College in Calicut, India followed by post- graduate residency in Internal Medicine at Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, India. Dr. Padmanabhan subsequently advanced his medical training at a number of renowned medical centers in the United States. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County in Chicago, Illinois. He subsequently completed a fellowship in Advanced Heart Failure, Mechanical Circulatory Support and Heart Transplant at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, followed by a fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Diseases and Interventional Cardiology at the Allegheny General Hospital (Drexel University College of Medicine and Temple University School of Medicine) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Dr. Padmanabhan is board certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He is currently board eligible in Interventional Cardiology and Vascular Medicine. Dr. Padmanabhan is a member of the American College of Physicians, American College of Cardiology, and the Indian Medical Association. Special interests includes coronary artery disease risk stratification and prevention, percutaneous coronary interventions, heart failure and valvular heart disease management, peripheral vascular disease, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography and general cardiology.
