| Tom J Wool, MD, FACC, FSCAI Dr. Wool, founding member of Southeastern Cardiology Consultants, has been in private practice in Montgomery since 1981. After graduating from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine at the top of his class, Dr. Wool completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Wool is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Diplomat in Interventional Cardiology in the American Board of Internal Medicine.

| Dilip C Patel, MD, FACC Dr. Patel received his medical education in Ahmedabad, India, followed by fellowships in Internal Medicine (Cornell University Medical College, New York), Critical Care Medicine (Albert Einstein School of Medicine, New York), Cardiology (Mount Sinai School of Medicine, New York), and Interventional Cardiology (St. John Hospital and Medical Center, Detroit). Dr. Patel is Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Critical Care Medicine—with additional training in Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and a Member of the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. His practice includes Clinical, Nuclear, Invasive, Non-invasive, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Patel practiced in New York and Detroit prior to joining Southeastern Cardiology Consultants in 2010. | 
| Scott Sims, MD, FACC Dr. Sims is a graduate of the University of Alabama with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Carraway Medical Center in Birmingham, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Sims has special interests in nuclear imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and peripheral vascular disease and was in private practice in Birmingham before joining Southeastern Cardiology Consultants. |
