Dr. Wool, founding member of Southeastern Cardiology Consultants, has been in private practice in Montgomery since 1981. After graduating from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine at the top of his class, Dr. Wool completed an Internal Medicine residency at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, and a Cardiology fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Wool is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and a Diplomat in Interventional Cardiology in the American Board of Internal Medicine.
|Scott W. Sims, M.D., FACC|
Dr. Sims is a graduate of the University of Alabama with Phi Beta Kappa honors, and the University of Alabama School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Carraway Medical Center in Birmingham, followed by a Fellowship in Cardiology at Tulane University School of Medicine. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Nuclear Cardiology. Dr. Sims has special interests in nuclear imaging, cardiac diagnostics, and peripheral vascular disease and was in private practice in Birmingham before joining Southeastern Cardiology Consultants.
Tamjeed Arshad, M.D., FACC
Dr. Arshad completed Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine training at Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston, followed by a Cardiac Electrophysiology fellowship at Vanderbilt University School ofMedicine in Nashville. He is a Fellow in the American College of Cardiologists, with Board Certification in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. Dr. Arshad has maintained an active cardiology practice in Montgomery since 2000, where his superior sub-specialty training, extensive experience, and compassionate patient care have created a strong patient following. Dr. Arshad is married, has two sons, and is active in Montgomery community and youth organizations.
Babatunde Komolafe, M.D., FACC, FSCAI
Dr. Komolafe completed medical education at Obafemi Awolowo University in Nigeria. He completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Cardiovascular Diseases at University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Dr. Komolafe proceeded on to Michigan State University and the Borgess Medical Center where he completed fellowship training in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Komolafe is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Adult Cardiology, Adult Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology. He is currently Board Eligible in Interventional Cardiology. Dr. Komolafe is a member of the American College of Physicians and the Society of Cardiac Angiography and Interventions. Special interests include coronary artery disease, coronary diagnostics and interventions, hemodynamic support devices, peripheral vascular disease with diagnostics and endovascular interventions, nuclear cardiology diagnostics, and general cardiology.
